Farting Nun Organ
Congratulations, you are now the owner of a fine Farting Nun Organ. This Farting Nun Organ should give years of service, if treated with care.

It contains four finely tuned Nuns, each of whom are able to break wind in tune with the musical notes of the chromatic scale. You may play these Nuns with the aid of a Keyboard, record and playback your ditties, and compose tunes with a higher level of accuracy using the Score Editor.

- OPERATION OF THE ORGAN -

If you simply wish to be entertained by the Farting Nuns without further ado, simply press one of the three "Preset Tunes" buttons, just below the stage, to the right. The Nuns will immediately perform a musical piece, to delight and amuse you.

You may, however, operate the Farting Nun Organ yourself. There are two modes of operation.. Keyboard, and Score Editor. You may switch between these modes using the large 'mode' button, to the left of the Console.

- KEYBOARD MODE -

Whilst the Organ is in Keyboard mode, you may play the Nuns directly using the Keyboard on the Console, by clicking the keys with your Mouse. Firstly click on a Nun to control. You may see which Nun is currently active, by the Halo that appears over her head.

You may record your musical efforts using a cunning hidden mechanism. To start recording, press the 'Record' button on the Console. You will notice the Record/Playback Indicator to the left of the console rotate until the red 'Record' annunciator is showing. All the notes you play from this point, shall be recorded.

To stop recording, press either the Stop or Play buttons. If you press the Play button, you may hear your composition. The Record/Playback Indicator shall display its green 'Play' annunciator.

If you choose a different Nun, then press Record, you may record another 'track' with this new Nun, whilst listening to the other Nun's recorded tune. This works with all four Nuns simultaneously, for a rousing Hallelujah Chorus.

The speed of the playback and record mechanism may be adjusted with the aid of the Speed Control, which is located above the Recording Indicator. Simply click on the + and - signs to increase or decrease the tempo.

A Metronome is provided, which sounds the current tempo whilst in Record mode. You may switch this on or off by means of the button in the lower left corner of the Console.

- SCORE EDITOR MODE -

In this Mode, you may adjust or create your composition by placing and moving individual musical notes upon a Grid, which is somewhat akin to the Musical Stave.

First, one must select a Nun by clicking on her with the Mouse. Any existing Musical Notes for that Nun will illuminate on the Score Panel, and all others will turn grey.

By selecting an appropriate Mode on the Edit Mode Selector, one may now Move notes by dragging, Add new notes by clicking, and Delete unwanted notes by clicking. Simply click on the appropriate Button for the task that you wish to accomplish.

You may scroll the Score Panel left and right to view the entire score.Click on the small arrow buttons at the top corners of the Score Panel.

At any time, in Keyboard or Score Editor Mode, pressing the Reset button will erase the entire Score and reset everything back as it started. Use this button with caution!

- IN CONCLUSION -

We do hope that you enjoy this fine Instrument, and may it give you many hours of entertainment and education. Should the outer casing become tarnished, simply rub it lightly with ammonia and borax.
